Apex Accounting Service was founded in 1996 and is a locally owned accounting firm serving over 1000 clients in the Greater Lansing area. An Enrolled Agent does your taxes and offers excellent customer service and attention to detail.

  • Jim Baxter - MBA/Enrolled Agent/Owner

    Jim has been in the Accounting and Tax field for 25+ years. He graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1984 with an MBA. He keeps up with all the new tax laws by taking multiple tax courses each year, and is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. His favorite part of tax preparation is finding each and every deduction he can for his clients, and formulating a tax plan to fit their needs.

  • Joshua Mills - Senior Staff Accountant

    Joshua graduated from Grand Valley State in 2010 and has been busy studying and taking the CMA exams. He is an expert in tax code research and maintains multiple online tax research databases. He enjoys working with clients to help make their tax appointment a great experience.

  • Toni Bolin - CPA

    Toni holds a BA in Accounting and has spent several years in public accounting. She recently transitioned into private industry where she has worked for several state agencies and worked extensivley as a tax preparer for both corporate and indiviual tax returns. Toni's experience also includes small business accounting, and each year she completes multiple tax courses to keep up with all the changes in the tax codes.

  • Audree Baxter - President

    Audree has 22 years of accounting and marketing experience. She holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Michigan. Her duties include Marketing and Consulting.
